I have begun a new journey, a voyage to a new insurance universe called CoverHound! I am so excited to be part of this amazing company that is going to change the way consumer’s purchase and think about insurance.

I chose to come to CoverHound because its vision as a company both for the consumer purchasing insurance as well as the employee working for the company is fresh and innovative. When I heard about the philosophy of the company and the direction they wanted to take, I knew I wanted to be a part of the team!

Having worked within the insurance industry the last few years, I witnessed a shift in the way consumers wanted to purchase insurance. But I always knew their needs were not met satisfactorily. This can be very frustrating and leave the consumer with a bad taste in their mouth, especially when it comes to something as important as insurance.

It is obvious that the consumer wants the convenience of purchasing insurance online. Do they have to sacrifice personal service to be able to do this? I believe the answer until now was a resounding “Yes!”. CoverHound is going to change this by offering convenience of internet comparison shopping while also providing superior service. I am most excited about being part of a team that is going to put the consumer’s needs first and not its own.

With a more efficient marketplace, consumers are going to have a positive experience when dealing with CoverHound. Also, from my experience with the company thus far I already know that it is a great company to work for and see myself growing with the organization and staying on this journey far into the future!
